SSH: Quick User Guide for Sharetru Support

If SSH public key authentication is enabled on the user's Authentication tab, this screen allows an administrator to manage the key(s) pertaining to that user.

Add SSH Key

Clicking the Add SSH Key button will open a new line item.

  • SSH Key Name - Every key should have a unique name that means something to you, such as "John at work" or "Automation system". Type in a name for this key.
  • SSH Key - This is where you paste in the user's Public SSH Key. The user should send this to you, as under most circumstances it is their system that creates the Private/Public Key Pair.

Remove SSH Key

Selecting a key's check box and clicking the Remove SSH Key button will remove the key from the system. Careful, there is no confirmation before the key is deleted.
