Upgrading or Downgrading your Sharetru Plan

Overview

Upgrading or downgrading your Sharetru subscription plan is designed to be straightforward. However, due to the presence of legacy subscription plans, the upgrade or downgrade path may not always be clear from our website's Pricing page. To ensure a seamless transition, please follow the guidelines below.

How to Change Your Subscription Plan

  1. Open a Support Ticket:

    • To initiate an upgrade or downgrade, please open a support ticket expressing your desire to change your subscription plan. If you've never opened a support ticket before, here's a link to our knowledge base article to register for our support portal.
    • Our support team will review your request and provide guidance tailored to your current plan and desired changes.
  2. Agreement and Provisioning:

    • Once you have responded and agreed to a different subscription plan, the new plan can be provisioned immediately.

Important Financial Considerations

No Mid-Term Downgrades

  • From a financial perspective, we do not allow mid-term downgrades. If you wish to downgrade to a cheaper plan, the new plan will only take effect at the end of your current billing period:
    • Monthly Term: The downgrade will be effective at the end of the current month. This includes storage and user removals
    • Annual Term: As annual plans are prepaid, the downgrade will take effect at the end of the current annual term. This includes storage and user removals

Billing and Credits

Upgrades

  • If you upgrade your plan, the change will be automatically prorated so that your billing renewal date remains the same, and you pay only the difference for the remainder of the term.

Downgrades

  • Downgrades are not prorated, as they do not occur mid-term. This means there will be no refund or credit issued for downgrades. The new plan will take effect at the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual).
